What is
Adab (respect)?
Adab reveals the reality of your faith. Adab is related to Aqidat. If
your friend becomes a saint, it is very hard for you to observe Adab to
Him. If you become a saint after marriage then your wife shall never
accept you as a saint. If a woman marries a saint, the level of Adab
decreases after marriage. If a woman wants to maintain same level of
Adab then she should examine her Emaan and Adab when she has sex with
Him. Does she Respect Him during sex also? A woman does never accept the
supremacy of her Husband. She thinks if she accepts his supremacy, she
will not be able to grumble.
What is Quranic Concept of Judging Emaan and Adab?
There is an Ayat that discusses the matter in details. “Bowing your
head before the Saint is not Adab! This is a scene that you create to
show off”.
One type of Adab is related to body, A Munafiq also can obtain it. The
Real Adab is related to Heart and only a Momin possesses it.
What is Adab from Heart?
Quran says, O Momineen, concede it with total acceptance of heart
what Mohammad decides for you.
Meaning if you are fighting over a matter and Mohammad decides something
then if you are a Momin you shall find content of heart in the decision
made by Mohammad. If you feel your heart is not satisfied with the
decision made by Mohammad then you are Munafiq.
If you observe Adab for me, do you accept my decision with the content
of your heart even when you disagree to it? I say the bird is black, you
argue with me about it, is this Adab? I say I love you and you don’t
believe me. I do not lie, you are blind. Even if I do not say I love
you, you should judge by my actions. Actions speak louder than words.
You can tell by the way I look. Those who love behave differently. Those
who flirt, they only speak gently.
The difference between flirt and love:
A flirt will never say anything to make you angry even if you are in
danger. A True Love will take care of you, save you from all calamities.
A flirt will use your beauty and forget you after his ego is fed well
with sex. A flirt is momentarily, Love is forever.
I was travelling with Sarkar, We were coming from Italy to UK. The Plane
was about to land, making its final approach and Sarkar got up, started
walking towards the Toilet. Sarkar went into the toilet. Everyone was
seated, belts were securely fastened. I went running towards the toilet
and I knocked the toilet door. I said, Sarkar, Please come, the plane is
landing. Sarkar came out two seconds before the Touchdown.
I asked Sarkar to sit in the seat nearby. If we went for our own seats,
it would have been fatal. I took Sarkar in my Lap and took to the seat.
To some people it was not Adab, To me This was Just Adab. Next day
Sarkar spoke to me, SARKAR said, I did that on purpose. I wanted to see
who feels concerned about my safety.
Preparing food, making bed, washing cloths, this is what a maid can also
do. This is not what a wife is for. A wife is a Life-partner who shares
the responsibility.
Today, wives are busy demanding their rights. They have forgotten their
role and Duties.
Divine Law is that “The Love of the Person also enters your Heart who
enlightens it”.
Faiz (spiritual Grace) brings respect, No faiz no respect. Those who
received faiz they naturally respect. Do not compel people to show
respect. If they received faiz they would respect without being taught
for it.
